Job Description
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with electrical codes and safety standards.
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on electrical systems, including motors, transformers, switchgear, MCC panels, and wiring.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues in steel melting shops, rolling mills, furnaces, and other plant machinery.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Ensure proper functioning of electrical systems supporting heavy machinery and process automation.
- Work with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and SCADA systems to support automation and process control.
- Maintain documentation of work performed, including maintenance logs and equipment histories.
