Hydra Search have exclusively partnered with a pioneer of the Marine industry - an opportunity is available for an experienced Electrician to join a privately owned, well-funded organisation transitioning from research and development into full-scale manufacturing. The business is focused on delivering high-quality, innovative solutions, with strong standards around safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Role Type

  • 38 hrs/week, some additional hours as required
  • Monday to Friday
  • Workshop based

Key Responsibilities

  • Electrical assembly, installation, commissioning, and fault-finding
  • Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
  • Testing, maintenance, and continuous improvement of electrical systems
  • Supporting workshop production and maintaining safe work practices

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience with industrial electrical and control systems
  • Electrical contractor’s licence preferred (allowance available if held)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
