Star Group is Powering Up New Service Projects – Join Us as an Electrician!

Star Group is seeking experienced Electricians to support a growing pipeline of commercial and retail projects. Work will begin at the Castle Towers Shopping Centre redevelopment, with progression to other $30M+ service projects.

This is an opportunity to join a well-established Tier 1 electrical contractor delivering high-quality service, upgrades, and minor project works across various commercial environments. You'll be part of a supportive team, working on well-managed sites with a focus on safety, quality, and professionalism.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Minor projects, upgrades, and service works within shopping centres and commercial facilities
  • Installation, testing, and commissioning of lighting, power, and control systems
  • MSB works, cable tray installation, and electrical upgrades
  • Fault finding, repairs, and client liaison for reactive and planned service works
  • Ongoing support across a growing pipeline of Service Division projects

What We’re Looking For

  • A valid NSW Electrical contractor or supervisor licence
  • Valid White card and Valid Driver's Licence
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a qualified Electrician
  • Experience in commercial service or maintenance environments
  • Experience working at heights (EWP or working at heights ticket is desirable)
  • Solid knowledge of switchboards, RCD testing, and emergency lighting systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities
  • Safety-focused mindset with the ability to follow procedures with excellent attention to detail.
