Job Description

Responsibilities:

 

The selected candidate will support the controls development, modeling, and simulation of propulsion, power, and thermal technologies for electrified aircraft propulsion (EAP) systems. Primary objectives are in development, evaluation, and testing of advanced control algorithms to improve the efficiency, operability, and safety of EAP systems.

The candidate should be knowledgeable about advanced control methods, with an emphasis on multi-variable, optimal, and model predictive algorithms. Primarily, the selected candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Develop advanced control methodologies for EAP applications
  • Support hardware-in-the-loop testing and evaluation of advanced control algorithms
  • Support data processing and perform trade studies of EAP applications
