Electro-Mechanical Drafter - Houston, Texas - JOB 25-

Pay Range: $24.00 - $31.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits.

Houston, Ohio area manufacturer is seeking to hire an AutoCAD Drafter for mechanical and electrical equipment Design / Drafter who is proficient with 2D and 3D design detailing using AutoCAD.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School graduate (Associate Degree or trade school is preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience CAD detailing is preferred
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and code requirements (NEC, UL, CSA, and NFPA) is a plus
  • Proficient with 2D and 3D design detailing using AutoCAD (Autodesk Inventor software is a plus)
  • Detail project design and bills of materials
  • Knowledge and experience detailing structural fabrications is a plus
  • Good math and problem-solving skills
  • Review all drawings specs and interact with engineering to verify compliance with local building codes
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
