Electronic Board Designer

About this opportunity

You will be part of the hardware group of Align R&D. Responsible of development of electronics modules for medical equipment including electronic boards for driving of LEDs, Heaters, ADCs, DACs, Microprocessors, FPGAs, digital communication, data transfer and control. In this role, you will… Have end to end responsibility on development of boards and modules: Definition of boards and modules Develop mixed digital and analog circuits Design, bring-up and debug prototypes and final boards Write documentation for your deigns Support along product life cycle. In this role, you’ll need … Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an R&D design engineer – board design Hands on ability is a must Knowledge in analog circuits is a must (A/D and D/A devices) Experience in designing of power system element – on-board power supplies, Experience in USB2, USB3, I2C, SPI, JTAG Design for safety and EMC standards – is a substantial- advantage OrCAD Capture knowledge Experience in Allegro is a substantial- advantage Experience in a similar job in companies with multidisciplinary machine products- an advantage Knowledge and capabilities with Python/LabView- advantage
