**Electronic Technician 1 (FIT) W-TRS Fort Irwin, CA N.T.C.**
*This will be a temporary CBA hourly role for 6 to 8 months. There is a possibility this role will become permanent and require Secret Clearance at that time.
**Job Summary:**
*Assists in the performance of all actions associated with the installation, deinstallation and troubleshooting of MILES hardware used for the instrumentation of vehicles and man worn MILES.
*Responsibilities include providing RTU installation support during pre-rotation MILES install operations and working as part of a contact team once the unit is down range to ensure MILES hardware is functioning properly.
*De-installation of MILES hardware one rotational training is complete.
*Perform scheduled, preventive, and corrective maintenance on TADSS and GFP, following technical manuals, preventive maintenance checklists, or industry best practices when no checklist is avai...
