Electronic Technician

ICBM Services Pty Ltd is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Electronic Technician for our client operating in the electronic and technical services sector across New South Wales, Australia. On a full-time basis, you will be part of a multidisciplinary and well-supported technical team, working onsite at a client location.

Position Details

1. Job Title: Electronic Technician, Full-Time Position
2. Employment Type: Full-time
3. Working Hours: 38 hours per week
4. Annual Salary: AUD $85,000 - 93,000 + superannuation
5. Work Location: in person

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide a full range of electronic equipment diagnosis, repair, and maintenance services and contribute to the daily technical operations at the client site.

Main Duties and Tasks

1. Participate in daily work planning and operational activities
2. Examine and test electronic equipment and devices to diagnose faults
3. Diagnose issues using electronic testing and diagnostic tools
4. Repair, replace, and adjust electronic components, circuit boards, and wiring
5. Reassemble, test, and calibrate electronic equipment after repairs
6. Install, service, and maintain electronic equipment and systems
7. Interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics
8. Maintain accurate service records and technical documentation
9. Coordinate work activities with supervisors and client representatives
10. Ensure equipment operates in accordance with technical specifications
11. Comply with workplace health and safety regulations and procedures

Essential Requirements

1. Minimum 2 years relevant work experience as an Electronic Technician or in a similar electronic repair role
2. Demonstrated experience in electronic fault diagnosis and component-level repair
3. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced technical environment and under pressure
4. Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Commitment to high professional, ethical, and safety standards
