Job Description

Your role

  • Design of electrical hardware for cutting edge robotic systems 
  • Bridge the gap between sensor development, motor control and robot software architectures 
  • Participate in development on all stages, ranging from project planning and hardware design all the way to implementation 
  • Assemble mechatronic prototypes for robotic systems 
  • Evaluate the design by measurements and extensive testing in a professional lab 
  • Learn and excel in electronic hardware development on a unique technology stack enabling safe human robot interaction 

Your experience and qualifications

  • University degree in electrical engineering or similar (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electronics hardware design, including schematic design and PCB layout 
  • Solid experience in the use of ECAD tools (preferably Altium Designer) 
  • Strong analytical skills and technical know-how, in at least 2 of the following areas:  
    • Power electronics  
    • BLDC drivers  
    • Communication interfaces such as SPI,UART, EtherCAT 
    • Sensor systems and analog/digital conversion, including routing of analog and digital signals 
  • Skills in soldering and assembly of electronics 
  • High personal standard of performance and drive for result 
  • Passion for developing innovative solutions as part of an interdisciplinary, cross-functional team  
  • Strong communication skills in English, German is optional
