Job Description

Reporting to the Lead Engineer, the Electronics Engineer will be responsible for developing assigned electronic projects and supporting related activities in electronic development for CAMECA’s India operations.


Responsibilities:


The Electronics Engineer is responsible for:

  • Design and develop electronic systems (specifications, justifications, diagrams) for digital and analog systems

  • Provide production support as required

  • Analyze and process modification requests

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to set priorities

  • Collaborate with other engineers to review and validate project files and change requests

  • Analyze recurring issues and propose solutions

  • Manage and direct the flow of incoming technical requests

  • Ensure resolution and documentation of change requests

  • Prepare weekly activity reports as needed

    • Requirements:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Electronics/Electrical Engineering from a recognized Indian university; M.E./M.Tech preferred
    Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in electronics design and development (for engineers); Diploma holders with 5+ years’ experience may also be considered for junior roles
    Proven track record in designing and manufacturing high-speed analog and digital electronics
    Experience working with contract manufacturers and supporting production/service teams in a high-tech environment

  • Professionnal knowledge & abilities: Fluent in English
    Strong technical understanding of electronics
    Analytical and diagnostic skills
    Curiosity for emerging technologies
    Ability to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams
    Proactive, rigorous, autonomous, and dynamic
    Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi or other regional languages is a plus
    Demonstrates respect for diversity and inclusion in a multicultural workplace
    Willingness to collaborate across global teams (France, India, etc.)
