Overview
Inter Island Group – Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur
Support daily operation and maintenance of EP and Passivation line, ensuring consistent process quality, productivity, and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up parts for electropolishing
- Operate and monitor EP equipment (tanks, rectifiers, filters, agitation systems)
- Check and record process parameters (voltage, current, temperature, chemical level, time)
- Handle and replenish chemical solutions under supervision
- Inspect cleanliness and surface quality after EP/passivation
- Assist in bath maintenance, filtration, and chemical top-up
- Carry out preventive maintenance and report malfunctions
- Maintain housekeeping and compliance with 5S and EHS
- Support troubleshooting and process improvement
- Label, store, and dispose of waste chemicals safely
