Basic Qualifications

: The successful candidate will hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education Teacher Regulation Branch AND possesses one or more of the following: Training Specialization: Elementary Education with a specialization in French Immersion at the Primary Level Related Teaching Experience: Recent successful experience teaching French Immersion at the Primary Level A Reasonable Expectation: based on a teacher's skills, abilities, professional development and overall classroom teaching experience, that the teacher will be able to perform the duties in a successful manner in collaboration with other professional staff Additional Qualifications: Fluency in English/French – oral/written – applicant must be willing to take a language proficiency test – oral and written Other: Proficiency in written and oral communication in French Willingness to have an interview in French with the District's French L...
