Job Description

Responsibilities:


  • Create and own email marketing strategy.

  • Partner with Marketing, Sales and Client Servicing teams to agree objectives and target audiences.

  • Develop and implement strategic email marketing campaigns aligned with KPIs and goals (e.g., brand awareness, lead generation, customer acquisition, retention).

  • Segment email lists based on a variety of metrics.

  • Identify gaps in data and create means of developing greater segmentation

  • Work with copywriter to develop stories that will resonate with audience.

  • Work with designer to design and build visually appealing and responsive email templates

  • Manage email campaign execution, including scheduling and A/B testing different subject lines, content, and send times.

  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates) and generate reports to identify areas for improvement.

  • Stay up-to-date on email marketing best practices, industry trends, and legal regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM).

  • Collaborate with designers and copywriters to ensure brand consistency across all email communications.

  • Maintain and grow healthy email subscriber lists through effective opt-in strategies and list hygiene practices.

  • Ensure compliance with optouts.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Increase in email open rates and click-through rates.

  • Growth in qualified leads generated through email campaigns.

  • Improvement in conversion rates (e.g., sales, signups) from email marketing efforts.

  • Decrease in unsubscribes and spam complaints.

  • Positive return on investment (ROI) for email marketing campaigns.
  • Desirable Competencies:

  • 2+ years of experience in email marketing or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices and campaign strategy.

  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging internal facing content.

  • Experience with email marketing automation, CRM & Sales Intelligence platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Mailerlite, HubSpot).

  • Proficiency in data analysis (via tools such as PowerBI or Tableau) and interpretation of email marketing metrics. Basic knowledge of SQL is desired but not essential.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Confident collaborating with senior stakeholders

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

  • Passion for marketing and a keen understanding of customer behavior.

  • Experience with A/B testing methodologies a plus
