It must store multiple days of data locally and upload buffered data to a server over cellular when aircraft power is turned off, using battery backup for graceful shutdown and transmission.
Deliverables
- Working prototype hardware (dev modules acceptable for prototype)
- Firmware for logging + event detection + reliable local storage + cellular store-and-forward upload
- Documentation and basic test evidence (power loss, intermittent coverage)
Required experience
GNSS, cellular modems, embedded firmware, power/battery management, reliable data logging.
Contract duration of less than 1 month. with 30 hours per week.
Mandatory skills: Electronics, PCB Design, Microcontroller Programming, Electronic Design, Circuit Design, Hardware Prototyping
