About the Role

Embedded Engineer ((Device plus cloud )


LiftOff is looking for an experienced Embedded Engineer with experience or  knowledge of .NET  and IoT 


This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building reliable, scalable software that interacts with real-world hardware, integrates APIs, and works across backend, server, and IoT-driven environments.

Required

4+ years of hands-on experience in IoT or embedded systems.

Knowledge or experience in  C#, .NET Framework 4.x, .NET 5/6/7/8/9

Hands-on exposure to Windows 10 IoT (Snapdragon) and migration to Linux (Rockchip) platforms

Experience with RS232 serial communication, pulse counting, and hardware interaction

Experience developing UWP applications that interface with physical hardware, such as valves and flow meters

Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications using IIS (Internet Information Services)

Strong understanding of JWT, OAuth, caching, and session management

Experience integrating APIs with native or hybrid mobile applications

Exposure to SignalR (real-time synchronization) and Dockerized services

Experience building and consuming SOAP and REST APIs
Experience working with MySQL Server

Familiarity with Git or SVN

Nice to Have

Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS

Experience supporting integrations for Android and iOS applications
