Working within the Software Development team your role is to help co‑ordinate the embedded software development team and contribute to the development activities. The position is a split role with both Management and Engineering duties. You will maintain engineering skills while managing a team, collaborating with Project Management and Engineering Management to convert technical specifications into detailed software tasks. You will manage the team, promote a collaborative culture, and ensure requirements are met throughout the development lifecycle. You will report status updates to management and project leadership using tools such as Jira and Confluence. Multi‑tasking and switching between engineering problem solving and a macroscopic view of the system are key.
