Job Description

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking an **Embedded Systems Engineer** to join our team in developing and optimizing HVAC control systems. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design system architecture, and ensure validation and performance at the highest standards.
**Work Model**: Hybrid - **2 days per week on-site**.
**Language Requirement**:Advanced English - mandatory** (spoken and written).
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define functional and non-functional requirements.
- Serve as the systems engineer within product development processes.
- Work closely with hardware, firmware, software, validation, and manufacturing teams.
- Evaluate trade-offs between hardware and firmware/software design.
- Capture requirements, write specifications, and define test plans for verification and validation.
- Participate in risk analysis and software DFMEAs.
- Document system and functional requirements.
- Contribute to new product development and existing product support.
**Requirements**:
- BS/MS in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, or Controls Engineering.
- **Senior**: 5+ years of experience in systems engineering with embedded products.
- **Mid-Level**: 2-4 years of experience in systems engineering with embedded products.
- Knowledge of wireless protocols (Wi-Fi, BLE, Zigbee, Z-Wave, CHIP).
- Proficiency in C and C++.
- Familiarity with 8, 16, and 32-bit microcontrollers (preferred).
- Experience with tools like IBM DOORS, JIRA, Azure DevOps (preferred).
- HVAC, MATLAB/Simulink, and LabView experience (a plus).
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary and agile environments.
