Job Responsibilities
Analysis and evaluation of requirements and specifications of PLC software (Codesys, Siemens STEP7, …), HMI/GUI applications, and electric motion systems Creation of test cases based on acceptance and quality criteria Processing and management of test cases in the ALM system Codebeamer Statistical evaluation of test results to optimize and reduce the cost of future projects Supporting test management with test planning Collaboration in an interdisciplinary, international, and agile team
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's in Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level, ideally also ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level 3-6 years of professional experience in testing, ideally in the field of PLC software and/or motion systems Good knowledge of software testing methods Experience in agile software development methods (, SCRUM, SAFe) Good knowledge of Codebeamer or a comparable ALM tool Good written and spoken English communication skills Structured and abstract thinking as well as independence and ability to work in a team The Successful Applicant
A successful Embedded Test Analyst- PLC Software should have:
A degree in Engineering or a related field. Strong knowledge of PLC software and industrial automation systems. Hands-on experience with software testing and validation processes. Familiarity with testing tools and methodologies. The ability to troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues effectively. A detail-oriented approach and commitment to delivering high-quality results. The capability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
