EMC Engineering Technician

Overview We are seeking a full-time EMC Engineering Technician at Garmin’s U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for creating an integrated avionics system to simulate aircraft installation to perform EMC testing and monitor and document system performance. Essential Functions Work is closely supervised by an engineer or more experienced technician Follow specific, detailed instructions Support testing at an outside facility as directed by Engineer or another Technician onsite Create simple plans/reports or provide contribution to larger complex plans/reports Execute plan made by Engineer or more experienced technician Perform testing at Olathe or offsite as required Communicate status of work clearly providing visibility to Engineer or more experienced technician Fill out component or equipment P.O.s Partner with factory or Engineering to work with ATE equipment and document any findings Work through problems as a team, regardless of ...
