What you’ll do
- Lead delivery of emergency preparedness programs. Act as subject matter expert on program policy, standards, practices and procedures related to emergency management. Establish new procedures and review / modify existing based on regulations and industry best practices, considering BC Hydro’s operations
- Partner with business units to develop emergency plans, including strategies for prevention, mitigation and integrated response. Facilitate emergency planning efforts with business units.
- Develop and deliver training and exercises to prepare employees for emergency incidents or train employees in response roles. Develop and deliver enterprise-wide exercises and training to ensure BC Hydro is prepared for integrated response, partnering with and incorporating business continuity.
