**Job Description:**
+ Rounds with previous shift staff to receive report on care given to patients.
+ Delivers care using the mission, vision, and value statements, incorporating patient-centric behaviors daily.
+ Promotes timely patient placement by following hospital policy for patient admission, discharge, and transfer.
+ Provides care to patients in accordance with standards of care, including assistance with hygiene, comfort, and activities of daily living.
+ Maintains patient skin integrity by turning and repositioning patients, preventing skin shearing, and notifying nurses of skin breakdown.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
• Individuals must possess these knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and to demonstrate that s/he can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities. [Required]
**Education:**
• High School Grad or Equiv [Preferred]
**Field of Study:**
• High School diploma or equivalent if hold a current CNA license or EMT license OR
•Must be currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing program and has
completed the first semester of Nursing Fundamentals OR has completed an
accredited nursing program within one (1) year and has not obtained their
license for Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
