Job Description

The Placement Coordinator / Placement Manager will report to the Placement Head.


- To find the right fitment for Companies as well as students based on the requirements.


- To maintain the database of companies according to the vocational courses offered at


- To interact with trained students and encourage them to grab the placement opportunities by providing career counselling to the candidates.


- Help the candidates in writing resume and prepare the candidates for interviews.


- To conduct candidate’s interview to know about their ability and efficiency.


- Need to keep in touch with clients from different organizations to stay updated with the new job vacancies that come up.


- Planning campus hiring events like job fairs, placement drive, own a batch by using the

knowledge of job trends and the employer network they have built to bring a variety of

employers to the institute for a successful event.


- To maintain the database of all trained students, centre wise and course wise.


- To track all placed students for atleast a period of One year and helping them in getting placed again.


- Should have strong relationships with employers and local partnerships with companies where students can do internships or externships or visit for job shadowing.


- To look after the training and placement activities of students


- To have close liaison with industry for the placement of students.


- To work in consultation with coordinator Industry –Institute interaction for organizing

lectures from the professionals and industry.


- To collect feedback from the companies coming for placement


- Arrange training programmes for soft skills and for interview


- facing skills for the students using institutional and external expertise.


- To organize the entrepreneurship workshops.



Requirements

Following are pre-requisite to apply for the position:


- Proven experience as a Placement Coordinator / Placement Manager in the Skill Development Sector


- Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision


- Solid knowledge of Learning Management System and other tools used for handling

Operations at National level


- Strong understanding of Corporate Branding and performance achievement principles


- Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, finance etc.


- In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices



Qualifications & Experience

pre-requisite Minimum Qualification with Experience


- Education: MBA (Project Management / Finance / Business Management)


- Experience: Min. 8 Years of Experience | Min. 4 Years in Skill Development


- Specific Skills Sets: Excellent Interpersonal, Analytical, Leadership, Management,

Communication and Public Speaking Skills


- Personal characteristics: Passionate for Social Upliftment, Entrepreneurial Mindset,

Energetic, Go-getter, Self-Driven and Self-motivated, able to handle higher Stress level,

Enthusiastic


- Computer Knowledge: Advanced MS Office / MS Projects / Google Workplace


- Others: Willingness to travel and work at various locations across the nation
