Endoscopy Technician

Job Description Job Description Pay: $20-25/hour, depending on experience Schedule: Sunday Off Monday 7:00AM - 5:30PM Tuesday 10:30AM - 9:00PM Wednesday 10:30AM - 9:00PM Thursday Off Friday 6:30AM - 5:00PM Every other Saturday, with another day off during the week Requirements: GI Technician Certification preferred BLS Certification 1 year of medical assistant experience or endoscopy/OR experience Responsibilities: Assist with endoscopic procedures and patient care under the direction of RN Preparation of endoscopic equipment, assisting doctors and nurses during procedures, decontamination and care of endoscopic equipment and supplies Monitoring supplies for reordering, tracking equipment sent out for repair, maintaining decontamination room logbooks Coordinates the efforts of the technicians in all Ors and the Soiled Workroom and reports problems or potential problems to the Nurse Manager Assures correct documentation is recorded Maintains patient confidentiality Ensures procedure roo...
