Endoscopy Technician - Gastroenterology - Full Time

Position Summary: Provides high quality care to patients in accordance with the Guthrie Clinic and the Endoscopy Center standards of care and practice, and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Maintains collaborative relationships with nursing staff, physicians and fellow ancillary staff to provide this care. Assists in providing care to patients of all age groups in the Hospital endoscopy unit and age 18 or older in the Endoscopy Center. Cleans and maintains endoscopes and equipment; provides technical assistance to the physician during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopies; assists with orientation of staff. Maintains an appropriate level of knowledge and clinical skill through continuing education, in‐services and self‐study activities.
Education, License & Cert: High School Graduate/GED required. CPR/AED certification required.
