Cummins is looking for a safety focused certified diesel mechanic to complete its team at Greenstone Gold Mines based in Geraldton, Ontario.
+ This is a fly-in fly-out opportunity
+ Camp and travel are provided.
+ Cummins offers a 5000$ sign on bonus for this role.
**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways** :
+ Engage customers in a courteous and professional manner.
+ Anticipate and ensures prompt and efficient attention to customer needs
+ Apply the use of specialized tools and follows documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete less complex repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools
+ Coach on preventative maintenance activities and basic repairs completed by customer employees
+ Escalate unresolved issues to more experienced On-Site Technicians and/or Supervisor
+ Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warrant...
