Engine Technician III & IV

We are hiring an experienced Engine Technician to join a skilled U.S.-based team working on Caterpillar (CAT) large bore gas and diesel engines used in mining, power generation, and construction. This is a hands-on technical role involving diagnostics, engine overhauls, repairs, and Dyno testing. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostics, teardown, repair, and reassembly of large CAT engines (3500 & 3600 Operate Dyno equipment for engine performance testing Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical engine issues Accurately document repairs, parts usage, and service reports Apply CAT failure analysis and warranty guidelines Mentor junior technicians and support team operations Maintain all safety and contamination control protocols Must-Have Qualifications Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with engine diagnostics, rebuilds, and maintenance Education: Associate’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Diesel Technology) OR Red Seal certification OR Journeyman Heavy E...
