Role Summary
The Engine Vendor Maintenance Partner is responsible for engine repair and overhaul at Alaska Airlines (AS). As an individual contributor, this role makes recommendations based on educated judgment to make decisions in the repair and overhaul of engines and components and provides solutions to address business challenges or problems in area of expertise.
Key Duties
Engine Vendor Maintenance Partner (P2)
Partners with vendors for administration of contracted maintenance on AS engine fleet and between AS and manufacturers, leasing companies and other airlines, for technical matters, delivery schedules, invoice discrepancies, warranty claims, and disposition of AS owned materials.
Monitors work-in-progress to ensure all vendor workmanship is of acceptable quality and that all work is accomplished in accordance with the work scope, and in compliance with applicable specifications.
