Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturer based on the outskirts of Leeds to recruit a Body Engineer.

Reporting to Senior Engineer, the Body Engineer will support the creation of 3D CAD data to support programme training as well as support the release of geometry for tooling. 

Our client is looking for a self-starter with the ability to be flexible and able to manage multiple ongoing projects and changing priorities.

Duties of the Body Engineer include:

  • Support of supplier base ensuring regular meetings and the issuing of relative minutes
  • Participation in purchasing matched pairs to ensure component delivery
  • 3D CAD geometry against programme timing
  • Support the resolution of complex engineering issues
  • Support Problem Definition and Root Cause Analysis through Interim and Permanent Corrective Action
