About the Role:

The Data Engineer builds and maintains foundational data pipelines and database structures that support analytics and reporting use cases. This role focuses on strong relational database fundamentals, hands-on SQL development, and close collaboration with analytics and business partners. Success is measured by the reliability, structure, and usability of delivered data assets.

Must Have Skills:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and near–real-time data pipelines
• Develop and optimize relational data models, including keys and indexing strategies
• Write and maintain Advance SQL transformations, views, and stored procedures
• Integrate large, complex datasets that meet business and technical requirements
• Partner with analytics and business teams to resolve data issues
• Perform root-cause analysis on data quality and pipeline failures
• Contribute to documentation and operational best practices
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 4-6 years of related data engineering experience
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
• Strong Python for building and maintaining data pipelines
• Solid Databricks / Spark experience (PySpark, Spark SQL)
• Strong Azure Platform Experience
• Version control using Git and JIRA
• Hands-on Snowflake experience (data modeling, performance tuning

Nice to Have:

• Apache Iceberg or other modern table formats

• Familiarity with APIs and event-driven or streaming data concepts

• Unity Catalog governance and security concepts

• Cloud certifications (Azure preferred)

• Exposure to Customer Data Platforms (CDP) or customer analytics domains
