  • Must be able to perform level 1 duties competently and consistently.
  • Design/alteration of moderately complex electrical equipment
  • Prepare layouts using CAD tools.
  • Evaluation of moderately complex designs; make engineering changes.
  • Evaluate new parts.
  • Prepare schematics, assemblies, detailed drawings, and bills of material (BOM) for moderately complex equipment.
  • May support manufacturing/assembly teams.
  • Manage and maintain project file.
  • May travel to US offices for project execution / customer site to support field teams with technical assistance as required.
  • Design/alteration of highly complex machines, sections, systems, or units; analyze designs with regards to performance and production methods to be use
  • Act as a consultant to manufacturing/assembly and field teams; conduct performance tests or investigations to help solve production problems or improve manufacturing techniques where product design is a factor.
  • Coordinate execution of design assignment with related work of manufacturing, tooling, material planning and other groups; direct preparation of design layouts/sketches/notes in readiness for preparation of final production, installation, and assembly drawings
  • Observe products in operation to obtain essential data for further study; prepare initial operating and service instructions and preliminary service parts recommendations on new models and assemblies.
  • Plan and lay out work for group, instruct new employees, check progress of work.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor team of professionals
  • Other duties as assigned.
