**Key Responsibilities**

**Electrical System Design & Documentation**

+ Design and develop **LV electrical systems** , including **control panels** , **MCCs** , **switchgear** , and **power distribution** for pumping station and related projects.
+ Prepare and review **Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)** , **GA drawings** , **schematics** , **wiring diagrams** , and **Bills of Materials (BOMs)** using EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical.
+ Develop and maintain **load lists** , **cable schedules** , and **I/O lists** from equipment lists and process data.
+ Perform **I/O and load calculations** , **cable sizing** , and **cable routing design** .
+ Prepare **Material Acceptance Reports** and conduct **quality checks** for panels and associated components.
+ Review **tender documents** and extract key electrical specifications and compliance requirements.

**Compliance & Standards**

+ Ensure electrical designs comply with applicable **BS (British Standards)** and **WIMES** requirements.
+ Apply knowledge of **Low Voltage** , **Machinery Safety** , and **EMC** directives for design compliance.
+ Support documentation and verification processes to ensure design integrity, reliability, and safety.

**Project Coordination**

+ Collaborate with project, procurement, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver integrated electrical design packages.
+ Assist in **technical bid evaluations** , supplier coordination, and design reviews.
+ Support **Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)** , **Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)** , and **quality verification** activities.
+ Participate in internal and client **design review meetings** , providing technical input and clarification.

**Skills & Qualifications**

**Must-Have**

+ Bachelor’s degree in **Electrical Engineering** or equivalent.
+ **2–4 years** of experience in **electrical design engineering** for **pumping station** , **water** , or **infrastructure** projects.
+ Strong knowledge of **BS** and **WIMES** standards.
+ Experience in **control panel design** , **cable sizing** , **routing** , and **layout preparation** .
+ Proficiency in **EPLAN** , **AutoCAD Electrical** , or similar design tools.
+ Ability to interpret **P&IDs** , **equipment lists** , and **tender specifications** accurately.
+ Understanding of **LV power distribution** , **switchgear** , and **protection device selection** .
+ Strong technical documentation and communication skills.

**Nice-to-Have**

+ Experience working on **water and wastewater infrastructure projects** or **EPC environments** .
+ Familiarity with **WIMES 3.02 / 3.03** and **BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations)** .
+ Exposure to **PLC/SCADA systems** and **instrumentation integration** .
+ Knowledge of **earthing** , **lightning protection** , and **power quality** concepts.
+ Experience with **QA/QC processes** , **technical submittals** , and **as-built documentation** .
