Engineer - Embedded Software
Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the development and execution of system integration and validation plans for complex SoCs.
• Design and implement test cases to verify functional correctness, performance, and power mode transitions.
• Support debugging and root-cause analysis of issues across hardware, firmware, and drivers using debug tools, waveform analysis, and logs.
• Collaborate closely with design, software, and emulation/virtual platform teams to resolve issues and learn test methodologies.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of automation scripts for validation and regression testing.
• Document technical findings and clearly communicate results to team members.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 2 years of experience in system validation, silicon bring-up, or post-silicon debug for SoCs
• Familiarity with GCC toolchains, embedded debug tools/utilities (e.g., Segger, OpenOCD, Trace32), and version control systems such as Git.
• Experience in Python or similar scripting languages for automation and analysis.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines or test automation flows is a plus.
• Willingness to learn, strong problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities.
