Job Description
Medical device experience is highly preferred.
Designs and validates manufacturing processes being transferred to a new location.
Specifies precise product functional requirements; designs, tests and integrates manufacturing processes and fixtures; and evaluates the processes’ overall effectiveness, cost, reliability and safety.
Designs, develops, and executes process validation plans; creates and reviews material part specifications and bills of materials.
Collaborates with internal manufacturing partners, contract manufacturers, and designers to optimize designs for manufacturability.
Utilizes CAD (Computer Aided Design) or CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) systems to review and modify existing designs of engineering drawings.
