As an Engineer (Flood Risk Modelling) within our Water Team, you will provide technical support mainly on flood modelling projects to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery for internal and external clients.
The role includes delivering hydraulic modelling and flood risk based studies with minimal guidance using industry standard software (Flood Modeller Pro, Tuflow, Estry, HEC-RAS, Infoworks ICM 2D and MIKE) as well as supporting/overseeing the project deliveries of junior colleagues. You will be expected to have strong knowledge on flood alleviation schemes, hydraulic modelling, hydrology and GIS based analytical tools.
