Engineer - Fluid Power

This position within the P1 group will primarily be responsible for supporting electronic control-type projects. Working with customers to scope out what the requirements are for a new controls type project, Bill of material (component) selection, to working on full Statements of Work to help define the control architecture of a machine. This position will also be responsible for writing all of the application code and benchtop testing of new control systems. And traveling onsite to help customers with commissioning and startup. Up to 20% travel should be expected for this role.

A strong skillset around software control and development will be required. Managing software IP and code in a common PDM vault is a must. A strong understanding of the mechanical principles that the control system will have to interact with is also a strong plus for this role.
