Engineer - Geotechnical

Based in SRS Penang office. To complement Manager in managing design consultants, supervising junior staff and driving forward the technical review, coordination and management of Geotechnical and site investigation activities - in particular for detailed design and implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects (e.g. Penang LRT).

Key Responsibilities

• Geotechnical desk study, broad-based geological assessment and geotechnical risk assessment.
• Planning, procurement and management of site investigation works, including geotechnical data management.
• Technical review of design consultants' submissions (design drawings, reports, calculations, specifications, etc.).
• Design management and document/drawing coordination, in line with project processes and procedures.
• Geotechnical design checking & analysis of foundations, ground treatment and slope treatments.
