- Integrate Sitecore with external systems (CRM, ERP, DAM, payment).
- Deliver responsive UI with React, Next.js, Angular, or Vue .
What we’re looking for
- Strong experience in Sitecore development and .NET engineering.
- Knowledge of headless architecture and modern JS frameworks.
- Familiarity with search engines (Solr, Azure Search) and integrations.

About the Role
The Compass Search & Listings organization is responsible for ingesting, enriching and managing the real estate listings that are used by all downstream product teams at Compass, as well as powering the feature-rich listings search capability. The Listing Pipeline teams owns the services that ingest and normalize listing data from over 200 external sources, supplying the core data for the entire Compass platform.
As a Senior Software Engineer on a Listing Pipeline Team, you will work on projects that deliver the data for all new product capabilities to Compass agents and consumers. You will architect, implement, improve and scale the back-end services, all while collaborating cross-functionally with Product and multiple teams across the organization to work towards the best possible solutions.
As a Senior Engineer, you will use your experience with microservice architecture to influence key technology decisions for scalable performance and stability. With a strong sense of ownership, you bring expert-level industry skills to Compass in one or more of the preferred qualifications below. You are a pragmatic technologist who designs and delivers scalable, resilient systems while fostering collaboration and technical excellence. Beyond execution, you serve as a mentor, guiding a talented team of engineers while driving impactful, high-complexity projects. You lead by example—innovating, teaching, and shaping the future of Compass Engineering.

What We Look For
- BS or MS in CS or EE, or equivalent.
- 7+ years of experience developing comprehensive, well-tested, and high-performance software applications in Python .
- 3+ years experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS services , including EKS, S3, Redis, DocumentDB, DynamoDB, Lambda, and MSK.
- Expertise designing and extending Kafka and event-driven data ingestion and normalization services that perform at scale.
- Understanding and adherence to industry-standard best practices in software development and architecture.
- A track record as a technical leader with cross-team impact.
- Strong critical thinking skills, great communication skills, passion for delivering operational excellence and a sense of humor.

Responsibilities (Ad Sales & Affiliate Sales)
- Lead support and management of Ad Sales & Affiliate Sales applications, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance. Drive incident, change, and release management while collaborating with client teams and vendors.
- Key Skills: Business Analysis or Product management skill with SQL, JIRA, ServiceNow, GitHub, Data Analysis, Product Management, Solution Engineering, Code Review | Secondary: Python.
Additional Requirements
- Responsibilities:
- Provide L2/L3 support for Ad Sales systems; resolve incidents, requests, and enhancements.
- Manage ServiceNow/JIRA tickets, troubleshooting, and escalation.
- Coordinate with client teams for change requests, releases, and DR/BCP planning.
- Perform software installations, upgrades, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Support testing, requirement analysis, and documentation.
- Oversee release deployments and environment maintenance from dev to prod.
- Collaborate with stakeholders for billing, reporting, and compliance.
Preferred
Experience with packaged apps (WideOrbit, BTS), .NET custom apps, and SQL/Oracle environments.
