Engineer II - Non Nuclear Test - CLB

Overview

This engineering position will support Columbia-New Construction & PSA.

This position is an engineering position that has involvement in all aspects of the new construction of a submarine and provides direct technical support to Waterfront personnel for submarines that are in-construction at the Electric Boat Groton and Newport News Shipyards and Quonset Point Facility. The support includes in-depth participation in the submarine's Key Milestone Events (Motor Module, AC Light Off, Float-Off, Steaming, Reactor Compartment Closeout, Initial Criticality), Ship Certifications and Sea Trials.

Specifically, the individual will work as part of the Engineering/Operations group as a Joint Test Group (JTG) member in the management of the Hull Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E) test program.
