Engineer IV

What You'll Do:
As an Engineer IV, you will support efforts related to the administration and management of storage platforms which will include but is not limited to: installation of capacity, updating storage array code, provisioning, and data protection software. You will lead troubleshooting efforts to address storage and data protection issues. You will play a crucial role in the delivery of the Firm's Digital Workspace Strategy and the implementation of storage (both on premise and cloud) solutions which will ultimately lead to improved associate productivity and satisfaction.

Here are a few of the key responsibilities you will be a part of:
 

Independently design, assemble, configure, install, maintain, and tune complex infrastructure components associated to the specific digital department.

Partner with Enterprise Architecture and other teams to develop appropriate storage platforms for next generation infrastructure needs.

Plan and execute initiatives for improving operational efficiencies through automation. This will include collaboration with other EDJ teams and platform vendors.

Assist with technical development and mentoring of team members.

Debug, recommend and correct complex internal and external infrastructure problems

Conduct peer walkthroughs to assure quality of designs and implementations.

Provide all levels of support for assigned systems, including rotating assignment to provide 24x7 on-call coverage and monitoring system logs and messages
