Job Description
Job Duties :
+ Conduct all work in a safe manner
+ For NPI programs, with input from design and test engineers, determine all needed assembly and test fixtures (create fixture list)
+ Design, draw, have manufactured, inspect, and validate manufacturing, assembly, and test fixtures
+ For NPI programs, coordinate with planner / buyer, design & test engineers on fixture jobs / PO’s, priority, and schedule
+ Develop new and improve existing manufacturing, assembly, and test processes and cells
+ Create new and revise existing routers, driven by ECO’s, process improvements, etc.
+ Update jobs based on NCMR’s, ECO’s / EO’s, redlines, etc.
+ Create jobs to make fixtures or development parts
+ Review and approve ECO’s for new and changes to existing drawings, documents, etc.
+ Review, provide feedback, and offer alternatives regarding NPI drawings for correctness, manufacturability, standardization, b...
