Job Title: Chef Engineer

Level: L3 (Senior Engineer)

About the Role

We're looking for a senior-level Chef Engineer to join our Cloud Architecture team. This person should be a self-starter and have hands-on experience using the Chef software and extensive knowledge more broadly of infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Automation:

• Chef Cookbook creation
• Maintain existing Chef Recipes
• Maintain Chef Automate software running on Paramount Cloud infrastructure

Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient code deployments.

System Monitoring and Maintenance:

• Monitor system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of infrastructure.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to streamline processes and improve collaboration.

Security and Compliance:

• Ensure that infrastructure complies with security standards and best practices.

Core Qualifications

• 3+ years’ recent experience working with Chef
• 6+ years’ experience working with Infrastructure Automation
