The Naval Nuclear Laboratory, Knolls Nuclear Engineering is seeking an early career Engineer of Radiological Work to join our team! The role is responsible to develop technical work documents that incorporate engineering controls (radiological, environmental, safety and industrial hygiene) necessary for performing work on, testing of, or handling radioactive and/or nuclear material. The incumbent will be trained as an Engineer of Radiological Work with duties that will be focused on facility and infrastructure maintenance in radiological areas including radiological support equipment (ventilation, machinery, piping and characterization), and decontamination and decommissioning activities.
Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Masters degree from an accred...
