### Job Duties
The Engineer, Operations Systems at Midcontinent Independent System Operator Inc. in Eagan, MN will provide Engineering and Compliance support to MISO’s Power System control room Balancing and Dispatch functions within System Operations. Ensure reliable and good quality output from Balancing and Dispatch-related Energy Management System (EMS) and Day Ahead and Real-Time Energy and Ancillary Services Market (DART) advanced application systems. Support enhancements, tests, and fixes to resolve Automatic Generation Control, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), and DART Real-Time Market problems. Conduct testing of software changes to Balancing and Dispatch-related EMS and DART applications as well as Contingency Reserve Sharing Group (CRSG) applications, ensuring these applications produce consistent and credible results. Provide subject-matter-expertise in support of interpreting BA-related NERC requirements, developing RSAWs, assessing and documenting comp...
