JOB DUTIES

Responsible for overall project scheduling and planning at project site

Duty Statements Liable for preparing MRP and supervising the jobs in the section
  • Co-ordinate all the activities relating to other location/vendor

  • Inter transfer of planning as and when required as per Budget/Project Review Meeting

  • Follow up and progress review of work in progress for timely completion of projects.

  • Communication for supply schedule with project sites

  • Responsible for MIS preparation

  • Running of improvement project in plants for business, cycle time reduction and inventory reduction

  • Co-ordination with HO for resolution of day-to-day issues

  • Liable for billing of completed lots and load balancing at shop floor

  • Responsible for advance action for upcoming months plan

  • You will develop detailed project schedules for substation construction and upgrade projects, ensuring timelines align with resource availability and organizational goals.

  • We expect you to collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential project risks and devise mitigation strategies to ensure timely project delivery.

  • You shall monitor project progress consistently and provide regular updates to stakeholders, highlighting any deviations from the planned schedule.

  • You will analyze data to optimize scheduling processes by identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements accordingly.

  • We expect you to coordinate with procurement teams to ensure that necessary materials and equipment are available as per the project timeline.

  • You shall maintain comprehensive documentation of all planning activities, including changes in project scope, to ensure transparency and accountability.

  • You will utilize project management software tools to track project milestones and generate performance reports for internal review.

  • We expect you to participate actively in project meetings, providing insights on schedule adherence and offering solutions to overcome scheduling challenges.
  • You must demonstrate proficiency in using project management software like Primavera P6 for planning and scheduling substation projects.
  • We expect you to possess a strong understanding of electrical substation components, including transformers, circuit breakers, and protective relays.

  • You should be capable of developing detailed work breakdown structures for substation construction projects.

  • Your ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project timelines and resources is essential.

  • We require you to have expertise in risk management techniques specific to substation projects to proactively identify and mitigate potential issues.

  • You must display excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders and present project updates.

  • Your role will involve analyzing engineering drawings and specifications to create accurate project schedules.

  • We look for your commitment to continuously improving planning processes by incorporating lessons learned from previous projects.
