Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare primary layouts for HV/EHV substations (AIS/GIS) or Wind turbine projects
  • Develop single line diagrams (SLD) and general arrangement drawings
  • Perform equipment selection and sizing (CBs, isolators, CTs, PTs, surge arresters, busbars, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with IEC / IEEE / IS standards and utility specifications
  • Coordinate with secondary, civil, and protection teams
  • Conduct design calculations (clearances, bus sizing, short-circuit levels)
  • Support technical documentation, BOQs, and tender engineering
  • Participate in design reviews, HAZID/HAZOP, and client meetings
  • Provide technical support during construction and commissioning

    • Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in substation projects/ Wind projects
  • Strong knowledge of HV/EHV systems (33kV and above)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (3D tools are a plus)
  • Familiarity with utility and EPC project environments
