Overview
Responsible for ensuring flour production adheres to customer specifications and for maintaining optimal flour extraction rates.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor mill performance and maintain optimal mill balance
- Supervise and provide guidance to the senior miller and mill technician
- Monitor and ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the plant
- Review and verify production documentation and checklists for accuracy and completeness
- Identify and implement process efficiency improvements within the mill
- Monitor, investigate, and resolve plant operation stoppages and equipment breakdowns
- Monitor and assess equipment condition to ensure optimal performance and prevent failures
- Ensure production staff adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety work procedures
