About the Role
We are looking for a Quality & Customer Claims Data Analyst to join our global quality team. This role is critical in transforming customer feedback and claims data into actionable insights that drive product improvement, reduce warranty costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with data visualization tools, and a solid understanding of quality processes in manufacturing environments.
- Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect, consolidate, and analyze customer claims, warranty, and quality-related data from multiple sources.
- Identify trends, recurring issues, and root causes using statistical and analytical methods.
- Develop dashboards and reports for management and cross-functional teams.
Quality Performance Monitoring
- Track key quality indicators (PPM, warranty costs, failure modes) and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Support problem-solving teams with data-driven analysis for corrective and preventive actions.
Customer Feedback Integration
- Translate customer claims data into actionable recommendations for product and process improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to prioritize issues based on impact and frequency.
Process Improvement
- Contribute to the development of predictive models for early detection of potential quality issues.
- Support digitalization initiatives for automated data collection and analysis.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Experience:
- 3+ years in data analysis, preferably in a manufacturing or quality environment.
- Familiarity with warranty and claims management processes.
- Candidate working with Construction Equipment, Agricultural equipment manufacturing Industries will only be preferred.
Skills:
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Understanding of quality methodologies (APQP, PPAP, FMEA) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Languages: Excellent English speaking and writing; additional languages are a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Data Analytics (e.g., Microsoft Certified Data Analyst, Six Sigma Green Belt).
- Experience in automotive, agricultural, or off-highway equipment industries.
- Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and predictive analytics.
