Job Description
We are seeking a motivated engineer to join our Building and Infrastructure Programme Centre where you will work with multi-disciplinary teams to plan, design and deliver rock and underground engineering solutions that enhance the capability and resilience of defence facilities supporting MINDEF/SAF's operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and contribute significantly to rock; civil, structural and geotechnical engineering aspects of defence infrastructure projects
Plan, supervise and review geological and geotechnical site investigations and interpret complex subsurface and rock mass conditions
Perform rock mass classification (RMR, Q-system, GSI, RQD), stability analyses, and design of appropriate rock support systems
Design and review primary and permanent rock support systems, including shotcrete, rock bolts, lattice girders, pre-stressing systems and final linings
Apply advanced numerical modelling tools (e.g. Rocscience suite, PLAXIS 2D/3D, FLAC or equival...
