Job Title: Engineer – Seamanship
Location: Scotstoun, Filton, Portsmouth. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: Up to £45,000 dependent on skills and experience
What You’ll Be Doing
- Produce Layout Drawings for Seamanship compartments for review by stakeholders and to allow Stage 2 to correctly model these spaces
- Update Windchill PLM with mature parts, systems, occurrences and compartment data to ensure it correctly presents the baseline design.
- Write and update Technical Equipment Specifications and co-ordinate with suppliers to ensure delivery to the agreed specification
- Carry out technical analyses and investigations, including evaluation and selection of technical options, and prepare reports with suggested recommendations to support the design of improvements
