Roles & responsibilities:

• Assists with the design/development of software solutions requiring general domain knowledge.
• Analyzes user requirement/needs and makes decisions within limited parameters under regular supervision.
• Participates in software design for features and bug fixes under direct supervision
• Supports development projects based on specific instructions and with limited discretion
• Troubleshoots code issues and makes decisions in a timely manner based on standardized processes
• Develops an understanding of industry and Albertsons specific quality standards
• Supports in debugging and fixing issues in development test.
• Asks for help as appropriate and learns from it.
• Contributes to team activities and collaborates within the team to solve problems.
• Has broad understanding of quality standards and work requires minimal revision

Experience Required:

• 02 years of experience in software development (including internships, academic projects, or freelance work).
• Exposure to at least one programming language (e.g., Java, JavaScript, or Python) through coursework, projects, or internships.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for building simple web pages.
• Familiarity with the concept of APIs and making simple API calls.
• Basic knowledge of databases (can write or understand simple SQL queries).
• Experience working on similar projects before (e.g., academic assignments, hackathons, personal projects, or internships).
• Willingness to learn new tools, frameworks, and technologies such as ReactJS, Angular, or mobile frameworks.
• Familiarity with Git for basic version control tasks (clone, commit, push).
• Eagerness to collaborate, take guidance, and contribute to team efforts.
